Becoming a full professional with a graduate degree in Social Work represents the culmination of a long life of personal and
professional preparation. I have so enjoyed working with people, helping them with their problems. At 40, I now feel that I have
the necessary maturity to perform at my very best level, again, as a student. I now also have an especially high level of motivation
that accompanies my current position working with at risk young men, mostly minority. Frankly, I am deeply saddened by the
explosive incarceration rates in America, and the way that black boys lead the way going to jail, rather than college, working, etc.
This sense of urgency makes me an excellent candidate for your Masters program because I am so fully engaged with my place of
employment; it is my mission, and an excellent place to complete my internship. It is my sincere hope to be able to make some
modest contribution to discussions of how to best counsel and care for at risk youths, in my case my research interest is in boys,
especially those at risk for spending their young adulthood behind bars. My inspiration, zeal, level of motivation, it all speaks to be
graduate school as a place where I belong. My family is now in a position to give me the necessary space as well.
I come from a long history of concern for women’s issues, and being a woman is equally if not more important to my application
to your program than being black. I am still a volunteer at a shelter for women who have substance abuse as well as mental health
issues. It would be more convenient for me, however, to do my research where I go to work every day. And these boys are
stealing my heart. They can be just enormously difficult. I am glad that as a woman at least, I am now an older woman, and thus
avoid many of the problems that are exacerbated by male hormones. I work with those who are chronically afflicted with the
worst of life’s problems, and it is here that I find my greatest joy. I follow what Jesus said about helping the most poor, showing
them love.
I rise in the morning thinking about my clients because their hope is my hope and I am always excited to share. My work thrills
me, and it is here that I find my deepest spiritual fulfillment, in my service. I also work with women who have children in the
custody of the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS). In fact, for the last 13 years, I have been a volunteer and
have also help professional positions in this area—women, children, and Family Services. I have worked with women returning
home from prison and living in halfway house facilities, adolescents with mandates from the court system to participate in
community-based youth projects. I have spent at least 5 years with mothers who have substance abuse issues and were mandated
to participate in parenting and life skill classes. I am a dedicated professional in the field of Social Services with 9 years of
experience in substance abuse counseling alone. I have very well developed professional skils in case management, family
counseling, and parenting education. And all of my experience has taken place with diverse client populations, teaching them
fundamental and invaluable vocational and basic living skills.
In my current professional position with the XXXX of Chicago, I hold the title of Counselor II and I am responsible for monitoring
daily operations of my shift in the male adolescent unit. My responsibilities include supervision of chemical dependency technicians
and completing all documentation as well as relaying information to Clinical Supervisors. I facilitate an orientation/life skills group
for new male adolescent clients and I am working with youths who have been mandated to participate in a 6 to 9 month drug
rehabilitation program. These youth need all the help and attention we can give them in order to figh recidivism, especially African
American and Hispanic males, who continue to come back into our system, before it is to late and we are completely swamped and
overburdened by mushrooming expense of our prison system. If you were to grant me the privilege of studying in your program, I
hope to be able to research the recidivism rates of black and Hispanic juveniles and young adolescents so as to contribute to our
understanding of how we can best go about saving their lives and, at the same time, easing the financial burdens on our society. I
especially look forward to the extensive study of follow-up procedures and aftercare programs; hoping to do my internship at my
current place of employment, doing my internship hours on my days off as well as on days after work that I do not have class.
By always looking for the positive in the worst situations, I have cultivated the perseverance to see that end result come to pass.
Compassion and a thirst for improvement are my greatest strengths. Challenges are what have made me who I am today,
especially learning how to successfully multi-task. I am an optimist and a fighter and I hope to one day build my own social
service agency for those who are currently in the criminal justice system and who have been there for years. I plan to launch
myself on a nearly exhaustive search for creative ideas to reduce recidivism in Illinois’s correctional system. I want to thank you
for your consideration of my application.

Why Our Prices are So Reasonable Compared to Our Competition.
Helping people with their Personal Statement or Statement of Purpose (different phrases for the same thing) is big business on the Internet.
No one really knows for sure since it is not regulated in any way; but it is estimated that hundreds of thousands of students seek help each year
with their Statement. This is because advanced study is so central to what they want for their future, and the future of their children. A well
written Statement often results in scholarship awards of tens of thousands of dollars—in other words, it is generally a good investment for both
the long and short term, a win/win situation. As a result, there are now hundreds of services providing Personal Statement of Purpose
assistance on the Internet and all have invested huge amounts of resources in an attempt to become competitive and stay that way.
We are able to keep our prices as reasonable as possible primarily because our writing team is based in the developing world: China, India,
Bolivia, etc. For one reason or another, family, the beach, economic living, working with a non-profit organization, etc.; all of our writers are
ex-pats with advanced degrees who choose to live primarily in the developing world. Some of our writers are activists, others social workers;
some are semi-retired. We are a team of North American (U.S. and Canadian) and British writers trained in a variety of areas including
Business, Law, Nursing, Public Administration, Education, Social Work, Engineering, and Biology. We share in common the fact that we enjoy
helping others achieve their dreams. It is also important to note that our writers work for less than professional writers in the US or Europe,
since we pass our developing world savings on to you--our client. And our General Manager assures you of state-of-the-art quality at the same
time that you receive maximum value for your investment..
Our prices are much more reasonable than our major competitors; www.accepted.com, for example, based in New York, charges $650.00 if
you are willing to wait, and $850.00 if you are in a hurry. Thus, we invite you to become part of a growing portion of those purchasing
assistance with their Personal Statement of Purpose on the Internet who are very glad that they turned to www.statementsofpurpose.com to
take advantage of the great value of our full, interview based service. Most people miss out because they do not know what is important to put
into their personal statement—and what is not. And this can be expensive because universities are generally very wealthy institutions that give
away billions of dollars of scholarship money to graduate students—but only to those that have very well-written Statements. It is best to seek
professional help and no one is better at this than we are. They just charge more money.
If you are available to answer any interview questions that we might have by email, then we can almost always finish your essay within no more than 3 days from the time that you make the payment on our web site and provide us with the information that we need. This is one of the great advantages of our service, that we provide rapid, timely service without asking clients for a rush fee. If you want changes made to the model essay that we send you, you must first make the indicated changes yourself. Then we will be happy to provide a final revision at no extra charge.

We do not charge a rush fee. Rather, we struggle every day, 7 days a week, to give all of our clients the best and quickest service possible. Our service has become quite popular since the quality of our work is very high and our prices quite reasonable as compared with most of our competitors. We attend to our clients in the order in which they have paid our fee here on our web site. Please note that our process often takes as up to 4 days, generally at least 3 days from the time that you have made your payment and finished submitting the information that you want taken into consideration. After making the payment, if you think of additional information that you would like to include in your statement and share it with us, please do so in an email message so that we will have that text to add to your file.
We generally use www.PayPal.com for your security and convenience. All that you need to do is fill out our Online Interview Form with sufficient detail and be sure to submit the information by clicking on the "Send Feedback" button. Sending us a resume or CV is important if you have one; and a rough draft is also very helpful as it helps to retain the authenticity of your unique voice. Please note that you do not need to register or open an account with PayPal or become a member of the service, all you need to do is follow the link next to the credit card icons that says 'continue' to pay with your credit or debit card. Our web site is set up so that you can make your payment either before or after you fill out our Online Interview Form. You can send supporting documents to our email at team@statementsofpurpose.com.
