As an undergraduate student, I took part in observing learning programs in Arabic at a girls school. During my final year of study, I had
the privilege of teaching Form 1 and 3 students in Arabic language and Islamic studies at a secondary school. I am pleased to be
trilingual-- Malay, English and Arabic—and see it as a centrally important part of what I can become as an educator. During my
undergraduate studies I participated in a jogathon and was involved in a cultural club and practices for our national day assembly. I have
diverse interest and love learning from and participating in other cultures.
I feel that I have a strong academic background in education and that I am well prepared to begin graduate study in this department at

government to pursue my MA degree. Once I have completed the MA degree, I will automatically become a lecturer in this program. For

foremost, as the best place to prepare me with the foundation that I will need to become someone capable of novel ideas, suggestions, and
organizational inventions in education.
I am especially interested in e-learning. I wish to focus my studies at the thesis level on an adaptation of ICT to the organizational and
material peculiarities of my country and the cultural dispositions of my people. I am currently providing tutorial assistance in Malay for

The educational system in my country is in desperate need of improvement. I wish to help our educational institutions become more open
