Helping people with their Personal Statements of Purpose for graduate or
advanced professional study, a residency program, or other employement is much
more than a way to make a living. It is also our spiritual expression and social
contribution. We like helping people and we are proud of our service.
We edit/write dozens of Personal Statements of Purpose for graduate study each
month and it is something that we have come to enjoy very much, take very
seriously, and have gotten especially good at doing. We have spent many years
investigating what makes a Personal Statement or Statement of Purpose as
effective as possible. And we have spent many years paying special attention to
what programs and institutions in the area of Anthropology, PHD and MA, are
looking for in applicants, specific qualities, interests, and characteristics that we
will emphasize in your essay. Character is especially critical and we are experts at
making you look exceptional. It is all in the wording and our team has what we
like to think is a natural gift for statement expression.
All we need are a few  paragraphs of rough essay telling us who you are and why you seek admission to a specific program. Often,
we respond to the specific questions asked by the specific program to which you are applying. Most clients fill out our
fillable form
interview first. A resume is also very helpful. In addition, we send you several interview questions by email, if necessary and we use
this material as building blocks to write your essay. We also like to visit the web site of the program that you are applying to so that
your essay is correctly tailored to the particular program and university in question. It is of central importance that you accurately
describe your dreams and visions for what you would most like to become professionally in the future, especially the long term.
Many programs want you to respond to specific questions. Please make sure that you send me these questions, to our email. We
will add them to your file and be certain to respond to these specific questions when we prepare your Statement.
Let's work together as a team to create a masterpiece!
The Personal Statement of Purpose

The Personal Statement or Statement of Purpose is the single most important part of your application. While information on your past work is important, it is only relevant insofar as it
helps the admissions committee to better understand and appreciate why you want to focus on the problems that currently interest you. In other words, the admissions committee is
primarily concerned with learning about your current and future research interests and how they coincide, in other words, how the research that you have already done has prepared you for
the research that you want to do in the future.

A shorter Statement of Purpose or Personal Statement that is clearly written is generally better than a longer one. A Statement longer than one to three pages of normal type and normal
margin is generally considered less favorable than the recommended statement of shorter length.
A successful personal statement is a literate, elegantly written essay in which the student highlights her strong preparation for her intended area of study, articulates her planned area of
study and her goals after completing this study, and demonstrates her facility with current theory and practice in this area.

In other words, why do you want to study anthropology? How have you prepared for graduate study thus far? What will you study when you are there? What theories and methods do you find
most congenial in terms of your area of study? With whom do you want to study, and why? Name the scholars you've found most inspirational or influential. You must state your reasons for
wanting to attend THAT particular graduate program. And finally, what do you plan to do with this degree once you earn it?
We develop a special focus with our service on character, creativity, and contribution to society. We think that it is
important to portray yourself as deep appreciation for service to society. Those students who have creative ideas
concerning the area in which they would like to specialize and for their long term goals or plans, simply have an edge.
And those students who demonstrate that they are caring people, sociable, agreeable, and team players, also have an
advantage.  Anthropology professionals are no exception, also serving as role models to the next generation. It is
important that you write an eloquent essay that successfully conveys to the admissions committee the assets, gifts, and
relevant experience that you have had, so that they are convinced that you are a competitive candidate for admission. We
help develop the material that you submit into the kind of essay where admissions committee members feel like they
already know you a little bit and look forward to meeting you in person and working with you in their program.
"Wow, this is a powerful essay.  Not only will this help me
with my application, but it will set the standard of quality,
reflection, and consciousness I aspire to!
Amazing!!! That's what I got to say.  It is incredible and you pretty much put everything I had in mind of writing, on paper.
I like the way you combined and included my travels and linguistic abilities in the statement.  It's EXCELLENT ! I even
had one of my good friends read it, and they said the same thing.  I guess you have a passion for writing.
Recent Testimonies of very
pleased clients that illustrate what
we struggle to do with each
Statement that we write.
Our price for this service begins at only $125.00, depending on the length of your material. Our service is especially
useful for those clients who are applying to several schools since we research the client's programs on their behalf, on
both university and department web sites, so as to tell the admissions committee why you are especially compatible with
that particular program, and this is often the key to success. If you apply to 10 schools,  for example, we can provide you
with 9 additional drafts at a very reasonable price, each tailored to a specific program. This could be an especially
important, strategic investment on your part. Please be sure to confirm the precise length limit for each of the schools to
which you are applying, in either words or pages and also spacing.  In some cases, we end up writing drafts of several
different lengths, most frequently 500, 750, 1000, 1500 or 2000 words. The rapid (no rush charge) and extremely high
quality of our service is an opportunity that we hope you will tell your friends and colleagues about, as we depend on
word of word-of-mouth recommendation for finding additional clients.
Many of our clients are non-native speakers of English. If this is the case with you, please keep mind, that it is best for non-native speakers, and/or those who were raised in
non-native-English speaking countries, to leave some small errors, mistakes, or grammar that is different from the way that a native (American for example) speaker of English
might tend to say something, so as to heighten the authenticity of the Statement. I have heard it said by members of admissions committees even about Statements by native
speakers, that some level of error makes you look human rather than an essay that looks like it was “written by a machine.” In other words, it is very much in your interests
(and I am afraid at times that some of my clients do not believe me) that some of the grammatical constructions be such that they would not have been written by a native
speaker; sometimes, I try to preserve some of this non-native flavor since I am sensitive to this question of authenticity. These days in academia, experts speak of “World
Englishes,” Chinese English, Arabic English, etc. Thus, what I really think is in your best interests is to take the document that I send you and go back through it making it
sound more like it is in your voice in at least a couple of places, and do not worry at all about something not being grammatically correct. Unless you were raised in a native-
English-speaking country, some grammatical irregularity or peculiarity is called for. Generally speaking, I make it very close to U.S. native-speaker English, perhaps leaving in
some slight nuanced irregularities. I am unable to produce “World Englishes” I can only respond to them and edit them in a way that leaves some flavor of your linguistic
origins. In other words, the Statements that are corrected in your own way, in your own style, are more effective for admissions committees.
If your essay is too perfect, it
looks like you had help, which you have:
But you don’t want them to know that! I want to leave in some of your Japanese (or Chinese, etc) style, try and make a bunch of
small changes to the draft that I produce! Say things the way you would say them yourself in a few key places! You are not a native speaker and you want your Statement to
look like it was written by someone who was not a native speaker. What I send to you looks very much like an American native speaker wrote it, and if I were to make any
changes that you might think are called for on your behalf,
it would still look like an American native speaker wrote it. Admissions committees do not like to be fooled. You
must have some Japanese (or Arabic or Spanish) English in the Statement or they may not admit you. Try and think of some Japanese (or French or German) idiomatic
expressions and then translate them literally, that is a great way to give the document greater authenticity. That way they will know that you really wrote it because they will
see how you are thinking in Japanese, Chinese, Spanish, etc.
If you are available to answer any interview questions that we might have by email, then we can almost always finish your essay within no more than 3 days from
the time that you make the payment on our web site and provide us with the information that we need. This is one of the great advantages of our service, that we
provide rapid, timely service without asking clients for a rush fee. If you want changes made to the model essay that we send you, you must first make the indicated
changes yourself. Then we will be happy to provide a final revision at no extra charge.
Why Our Prices are So Reasonable Compared to Our Competition.
Helping people with their Personal Statement or Statement of Purpose (different phrases for the same thing) is big business on the Internet.
No one really knows for sure since it is not regulated in any way; but it is estimated that hundreds of thousands of students seek help each year with their Statement. This is
because advanced study is so central to what they want for their future, and the future of their children. A well written Statement often results in scholarship awards of tens
of thousands of dollars—in other words, it is generally a good investment for both the long and short term, a win/win situation. As a result, there are now hundreds of
services providing Personal Statement of Purpose assistance on the Internet and all have invested huge amounts of resources in an attempt to become competitive and stay that
way.

We are able to keep our prices as reasonable as possible primarily because our writing team is based in the developing world: China, India, Bolivia, etc.  For one reason or
another, family, the beach, economic living, working with a non-profit organization, etc.; all of our writers are ex-pats with advanced degrees who choose to live primarily in
the developing world. Some of our writers are activists, others social workers; some are semi-retired. We are a team of North American (U.S. and Canadian) and British
writers trained in a variety of areas including Business, Law, Nursing, Public Administration, Education, Social Work, Engineering, and Biology.  We share in common the fact
that we enjoy helping others achieve their dreams.  It is also important to note that our writers work for less than professional writers in the US or Europe, since we pass our
developing world savings on to you--our client. And our General Manager assures you of state-of-the-art quality at the same time that you receive maximum value for your
investment..

Our prices are much more reasonable than our major competitors; www.accepted.com, for example, based in New York, charges $650.00 if you are willing to wait, and
$850.00 if you are in a hurry. Thus, we invite you to become part of a growing portion of those purchasing assistance with their Personal Statement of Purpose on the
Internet who are very glad that they turned to
www.statementsofpurpose.com to take advantage of the great value of our full, interview based service. Most people miss out
because they do not know what is important to put into their personal statement—and what is not. And this can be expensive because universities are generally very wealthy
institutions that give away billions of dollars of scholarship money to graduate students—but only to those that have very well-written Statements. It is best to seek
professional help and no one is better at this than we are. They just charge more money.

turned away primarily on the basis of a weak essay. Please note that your
competition often uses professional help.
