My own ethnic background as much as it can be determined is heavily German. And I thought of myself as
German growing up. I suppose I still do. Like many Germans of my generation, I carry a sense of moral baggage
for what the Nazi's did. And as someone from the United States, I am deeply ashamed of the way that my
country continued the Nazi project in certain important ways. Furthermore, as a historian of Latin America
where most of the torture and killing took place, I was first angry than deeply sad, never reconciled to this story.
This has inspired what follows.
In May of 2002, in Afghanistan, British and Australian military forces came under fire and, along with the U.S.,
launched a reprisal attack. And as with all great operations like this, they baptized it with a name:
Operation
Condor. All of which was of little and quite passing interest to the press. No one even noted that the selection of
this name was in very poor taste. This web site is dedicated to denouncing this poor taste. Operation Condor has
a long and highly successful history in terms of taking innocent life, the murder of the most courageous who
once walked among us in Latin America, our teachers, labor union leaders, journalists etc. This celebration of
Operation Condor and the murder of Latin America's finest shall not be accepted without resistance.
The Condor is the world’s largest killer bird, a bird of prey, it has long been deeply admired by those who take great pride in killing and devouring.
Condor is a German airline:
www.condor.com. This is because this fascination with the Condor on the part of German aviation began with the Nazis; the
Nazi Condor Legion
was the most elite unit of the Luftwaffe, the Nazi air force. But the Condor would not die with the fall of Berlin; it has lived to fly again, kill again,
and it keeps on killing, in the mountains of Afghanistan, to cite just one example. Now, the killer bird preys primarily upon innocent people who
have little to no official role in society. They are not journalists, politicians, teachers; for the most part they are poor 'peasants' for want of a better
word. We say 'campesinos' in Spanish. They are ordinary people who have simply fallen victim to the bombs that fall from the sky, victims of the
supposedly noble endeavors of the U.S. and its English-speaking allies to dominate the world.
Operation Condor began prior to W.W.II, with the Spanish Civil War, a war in which democracy lost because the United States government
supported the Fascists, and the Fascists won, instituting the brutal dictatorship of
Franco, which would last until his death in the 1970s after ruling
Spain with an iron fist for 40 years.
It was the Nazi “Condor Legion” that bombed the hell out of the Basque Country and other parts of Spain in 1936 and 1937 in support of their
Fascist ally Franco. The loss in civilian life was staggering. The Nazi’s not only directly targeted civilians, but all public or private buildings of any
size or beauty. The Condor Legion sought to destroy the dignity of democratic Spain, and was somewhat successful, falling short only of killing the
dream. The Bird should have been killed there but it was not, and we have all suffered the consequences now for 70 years.
The Condor is indigenous to South America, where it still hunts in the wild, the Amazon for example. It is a terrifying creature, but of great pride for
Latin American naturalists. For our purposes, the Bird Came Home to Roost in South America in the 1970s. “Operation Condor” was organized, at
least in part, at the U.S. Military’s infamous “
School of the Americas" in the Panama Canal Zone. The agreement resulted in the exchanging of
political refugees so that they could be sent back to their respective military dictatorships to be tortured and disposed of in
Chile, Argentina,
Paraguay, Uruguay, Bolivia, and Brazil. The number most commonly given is 50,000, many tortured for some time, even years; the fortunate were
killed after only a few days. Teachers, Journalists, Opposition Politicians, Labor Union Leaders, Religious Leaders, food for the Bird.
With the retirement of the military dictatorships by the early 1980s and a return to at least some semblance of democracy, even if it was little more than a civilian facade that served the
purposes of the rich, the Condor flew to Central America for the next chapter of the massacre. With the fall of Berlin to the Allies, the United States government put numerous top Nazis
on its payroll, giving them new identities, passports, and sending them to Argentina and Chile where they would go on to become famous trainers of fascist doctrine and
torture/interrogation techniques to the fascist military of those countries. Their students would be sent to Honduras, El Salvador, and Guatemala in the 1980s, again to supposedly
democratic countries, to
train torturers in Central America, ostensibly to fight “communism." And who were the primary victims, in addition to campesinos? Right: Teachers, Journalists,
Opposition Politicians, Labor Union Leaders, Religious Leaders, food for the Bird.
With the end of the Cold War, a huge problem presented itself. Now that there is no major
adversary, what is to be done with the enormous industrial military complex all geared up for the
Third World War? Of course, the Bird must eat. Thus, U.S. Military planners received orders to
prepare for fighting simultaneous small wars, Iraq and North Korea at the same time, for example.
And U.S. elite strategists promoting world trade quickly came up with a short list of countries to
attack that would be in our interests, and they singled out oil rich, rebellious Iraq. The hungry Bird
went for the kill, fresh from warming up exercises in Afghanistan. In both countries, those who
suffer are the poor, vulnerable, and innocent. Now, we see the war spreading rapidly. The London
transit bombers were from Pakistan, with one Jamaican warrior, a non-Arab man of color from a
British colony in the Caribbean. Again, the Bird and its allies meet armed resistance. The blood
and the hunger continue. And of course, Bush will not negotiate. Bush would say that negotiation is
un-American. America does not negotiate with those that it calls terrorists. As with the
“communists” before, America and its allies prefer killing to negotiating with those whom they
brand as “terrorists”; in other words, those that oppose the politics of the Bird.

I live with my wife and step-daughter on the breathtakingly beautiful, Lake
Atitlan, in Panajachel, in the middle of Guatemala. For the last 20 years of my
life, I have been studying Latin America with a passion, and not just Central
America but all of it, the Caribbean as well. And I wrote my own doctoral
dissertation on Latin America. I can send you a copy if you like.

If you are looking for an academic tutor for a project on Latin America, a term
paper, thesis, or doctoral dissertation, then you have come to the right place.
Back in my days in the academy, in the 1980s and early 1990s, there was a
strident solidarity between North American academics and the Latin American
political left. While that is still true, things are nowadays much more complex.
I am especially fond of history and deciphering the lessons that are to be
learned from studying history. I would be happy to write a really smart paper
on your behalf with anything having to do with Latin America.
Fully Custom Term Papers On Latin America
These days, if you submit a term paper that has previously been submitted,
in any form, then you will probably get busted by one of two anti-plagiarism
services,
www.turnitin.com and www.ithenticate.com. Most university
professors now use one or the other of these services. These systems detect
about 1 percent of papers as completely plagiarized and about 1/4 as
partially plagiarized. Thus, you need to be completely sure that you are not
buying what is called on the Internet a "pre-written" term paper.

equality, women's liberation, progressive communication, religion and spirituality, and constructive ways to make the world a more egalitarian and harmonious place to live. Most of the
work that I do is on behalf of women and minorities. Thus, I have a special interest in Asian Studies, Women's Studies, African-American/black issues, concerns projects, and everything
having to do with Latin America and Latinos.
I am a one-man, non-profit organization. I use the money that I make editing
